Account & Data Deletion

At Tradebench, you have full control over your personal data. You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated profile records at any time.

Option 1: In-App Instant Deletion

Fastest method if you have the Tradebench app installed

If you have access to the Tradebench mobile application on your device, you can delete your account instantly without manual review:

  1. 1 Open the Tradebench mobile application and sign in.
  2. 2 Navigate to the Account or Profile tab.
  3. 3 Select Account Management > Data & Privacy.
  4. 4 Tap Delete Account and enter your password or verification code to confirm.

Option 2: Web Deletion Request Form

For users without app access or uninstalled applications

If you have uninstalled the app, lost access to your device, or prefer web processing, submit a deletion request below. Our administration team will verify your cellphone number and complete the deletion within 7 business days.

Please include country code if possible. We use this to locate your record.

What Data is Permanently Deleted?

Complete removal from our servers and database

Upon processing an account deletion request, the following information is permanently purged:

  • Authentication & Security Records: Login credentials, phone verification tokens, and session logs.
  • Personal Profile Information: Full name, phone number, physical location, and contact details.
  • Contractor & Trade Records: Uploaded CV documents, portfolio photos, licences, certification files, and trade descriptions.
  • Platform History: Shortlists, profile unlock history, reference logs, and customer support communications.

Note on Legal Requirements: Certain financial transaction logs may be retained for the minimum period legally required under South African tax and auditing laws before permanent erasure.
